A delicious salad recipe with avocado sauce, quick , easy to digest and very nutritious !
The avocado is a very beneficial source of omega -3 which helps the blood stream circulation and good brain and body functionality. It also prevents the rising of LDL (bad cholesterol) to be a great replacement for saturated fats.
- 2 medium carrots washed and unpeeled
- 1 large peeled beets
- 200g of spinach
- 350g lettuce
- 500g cherry tomatoes
- 2 avocados
- 1 lemon
- 1 dash of black pepper (freshly ground )
For the colorful salad
Grate the carrots and the beet to a bowl. Wash the lettuce and the spinach leaves and cut them into the same bowl. Mix everything evenly and pour the avocado sauce.
For the avocado sauce
Cut the avocados in half, set aside the seeds and with a spoon remove all the flesh to a bowl and mash with a hand blender until almost liquid. Wash and cut the cherry tomatoes in 4 and place them in the bowl with the avocado. Squeeze a lemon and add the juice to the mixture, sprinkle a dash of ground black pepper and combine all the ingredients until a consistent sauce.
